VIEWPOINT: Does Africa Have What it Takes To Be In The Cockpit of The Next Phase of Modern Advancement of Humans and The Society? Written by Philip Asuquo

This is a question that may leave many dazed about such possibility and yes, many will be quick to say Africa doesn't seem to stand a chance.

Why?

Because we seem way behind compared to continents like Asia, Europe, America etc.
Truth is, those who advance society are committed to research and practical efforts that not only make them see an envisaged possibility of the future but makes them create it, finetune it and eventually launch it.

Do you know that men have attempted to create flying cars and other fantastic innovations that we currently use and that will soon come to us as far back as 1766 and even before then?
In the course of a not so recent research I did, I discovered that as far back as 1888, men had dug up the next dimension that mankind is about to move into after our current dimension.
I had just come into the knowledge of the said dimension and was super excited only to find out that it had been seen, spoken of and written about by certain men as far back as the 18th Century and even before then. Even some of the things we use now (like mobile phones and the likes) were seen by them and some of them made first attempts to create them.

Now, I got new knowledge about it but it baffled me that some of the wise scripts and inventions we have now and will have later were done or started by men of the old years before us. It made me wonder what men of our now years are putting on ground for men of earth’s future years.
Those men of yester-years were committed to wisdom, knowledge, invention, insight, research, etc. The result of these activities put the world on a course for untold transformation from age to age.
Society has always counted on men of sterling cerebral wherewithal to advance the course of mankind with the quality of their research or works. These men not only dedicated their time and space to research, they also had labs they used to try out certain inventions.

Today, do we have men that have labs or research sparks? One thing I know, we do have them. Another thing I know is that not many are Africans. My desire is to awaken Africans to the very life that we ought to live. Ancient Egypt was the cradle of civilization and people used to come to Egypt ( a place in Africa) to learn civilization. People still study scripts and relics of civilization from those ages of Egypt’s glory.

Dear Africans, there is more out there. Let’s be committed to a life of more. Let’s change the course of life like we should by knowing and doing more.
We can make modern advancement to be spearheaded by our efforts if we prepare and get to do so. Already, some of the efforts made in modern technology has Africans at the helm or in the teams.

We can do it.
Let's commit ourselves to that which will give us more.
