Goodness lies in constantly striving for perfection

The first rule of achieving goodness is to constantly think only about self-perfection.

The most important thing in life is the path to perfection, but question is what kind of perfection can exist if a person is proud and satisfied with himself?

One of the major obstacles impeding any positive future change in our lives is that we are too busy with our current work or activity.

We rarely have time for self-development and perfection.

It seems to us that the most important work in the world is the work which we can see; that is, "building a house, plowing the land, feeding cattle, gathering fruits", etc, than the work which is invisible, and I mean the work done by our soul.

But our invisible work at the improvement of our soul is the most important work in the world, and all other visible kinds of work are useful only when we do this major work, which is "Self-Development".

Let me use relationship instance to break it down for you!

The same way you wouldn't want to leave your home to a depressed village is the same way you wouldn't leave your singlehood to a dimwit relationship.

The same way you don't go on vacation in an undeveloped area is automatically the same way you wouldn't want to waste your time and resources on any relationship that's not willing to see growth and development.

If your significant other is coping with your ignorance in a way or the other, bear it in mind that they wouldn't do it for a lifetime. They might get tired trying to work on you while they still have their own flaws to make amends with!

Bottom line is, get busy developing yourself endlessly. Intra-personal relationship which is the relationship with yourself, still, is the best!

Wait no more for that perfect person, make yourself perfect just by yourself.
